MoFuse has a Zero Tolerance policy for SMS spam.  All members of any MoFuse offered SMS text marketing “customer list”,  can only get on to that list, by personally opting-in to that text message marketing program with their own cell phone.   We do not allow for any bulk upload of phone numbers to our SMS Marketing platform at any time.

Only Subscribers to a specific SMS marketing program (delivered by the MoFuse SMS Marketing offering) will receive any text messages from our programs.  MoFuse strictly adheres to the Mobile Marketing Association’s Mobile Marketing Best Practices.  We believe that consumer privacy standards are essential to the success of mobile marketing by protecting mobile users from unwanted communications on their mobile devices.

We do not allow for uploading of phone numbers or any information to our SMS Text Marketing platform.  MoFuse Clients are made aware that all of their SMS Marketing customers (Customers who sign up to receive text messages through a program) need to opt-in to their SMS Text Message Marketing programs by using their own cell phones.


Please notify us immediately about any abuse.  Please include the sender ID, your Mobile Number (to be removed); the date and time you received the message and the contents of the message.  Your report will be registered and the MoFuse SMS Client situation will be investigated for violations of our Anti-Spam Policy. The identity of any individual reporting abuse will be kept completely confidential.

Our Definition of Text Spam

We consider any unsolicited, unexpected, or unwanted text message as Spam. We do NOT allow use of 3rd party lists, whether consent has been gathered or not.

 How do we Enforce Our Policy?

Before we commence a program for a MoFuse SMS Text Marketing Client, we ensure that they agree under contract that they will NOT to send unsolicited Text Messages or Spam. Our SMS Text Marketing Clients agree to our “Opt-In only” policy before their marketing program begins.  All Text Messages sent by MoFuse are tracked; we know the phone numbers of the subscribers to the lists.  We prominently notify all Text Message campaign participants how to OPT-OUT / REMOVE / UNSUBSCRIBE  themselves from the Text Marketing Program.  We make the process to end or unsubscribe to the program very clear.  MoFuse will not allow the upload of phone numbers or the addition of phone numbers to an opt-in campaign by any other method than the end customer opting in with their own handset.  We maintain an OPT-OUT list that restricts our Clients from adding a mobile number to their list that has been previously Opted-Out.  We also maintain a Global Block List. If we suspect a violation of our Anti-Spam policy, we will contact our Client and discuss the Client options, which may range from a warning, to termination of service for that Client. To the best of our knowledge, our system adheres to ALL state and national laws regarding sending unsolicited bulk / group text messages.

Report Abuse

To report any abuse, violations or inappropriate use of text marketing that you believe comes from a MoFuse customer, please contact us immediately at  MoFuse takes abuse very seriously and will immediately terminate any SMS Campaigns that are found to be in violation of our anti-spam policy.

How to Remove Yourself from a Text Campaign from a MoFuse client

If you wish to remove yourself from any list, please email us with an “OPT-OUT”, “UNSUBSCRIBE”, “STOP” or “REMOVE” in the subject line. You also may reply to the text Message received by using any of the aforementioned methods.

Please notify us about any abuse immediately, including your Mobile Number, the date and time you received it and the contents of the message. You will be removed from that list and the Client will be restricted from adding your mobile number to their list in the future.
